Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company, has announced the signing of a new property in Kota, Rajasthan. This strategic expansion marks the brand’s first entry into the city, often referred to as India’s “Coaching Capital,” and reinforces Wyndham’s aggressive growth strategy within Rajasthan’s secondary and tertiary markets.
The new hotel, which will operate under the Wyndham Garden or Ramada by Wyndham flag (branding to be finalized closer to launch), is designed to cater to a unique mix of demographics. While Kota is globally recognized for its massive student population and educational infrastructure, it is also an emerging hub for the chemical and power industries, creating a consistent demand for branded, high-quality mid-scale and upscale accommodations.

Strategic Location: The hotel is situated in close proximity to the city’s major educational districts and industrial zones, providing easy access for visiting parents, corporate professionals, and faculty.

Modern Inventory: The property will feature 75 guest rooms, including several suites, all equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi and ergonomic workspaces tailored for long-stay guests.

MICE & Social Spaces: To tap into the local wedding and corporate event market, the hotel will house extensive banquet halls and a rooftop terrace with views of the Chambal River landscape.

Culinary Offerings: A signature multi-cuisine restaurant and a 24/7 café are planned, focusing on a blend of Rajasthani specialties and international comfort food.

The project is currently in the advanced stages of development, with a projected opening in early 2027. This signing brings Wyndham’s total pipeline in India to over 40 properties, as the group continues to focus on the “Value-Driven Luxury” segment across the subcontinent.
