Marine Hydrocolloids, a leading hydrocolloids and food ingredient manufacturer from Kerala, has been awarded as the Best Manufacturing Enterprise (MSME) by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Kerala.
For over four decades, Marine Hydrocolloids has pioneered the manufacturing and export of diverse hydrocolloids such as Agar Agar, Spreadable Agar Agar – Wondergel, Agarose, Sealife, Carrageenan and Sodium Alginate.
Evolving with the times, they expanded into value-added products like Stabilizers for ice cream – Crèmedelite, Cold glaze stabilizer -Glazemate, Flavoured milk, Milkshake, Suspension drinks, Meat and plant-based meat applications.
They have now set foot into the retail segment with the introduction of an array of European instant dessert premixes such as Crème Brûlée, Vanilla Panna Cotta, Strawberry Panna Cotta, Tiramisu, Chocolate Mousse, Caramel Pudding, Chocolate Pudding, Mango Pudding and a range of bakery ingredients for the Retail and Horeca sector. Additionally, they also offer a range of high-quality gums including Xanthan Gum, Locust Bean Gum, Guar Gum / Modified Guar Gum, Gellan Gum, Konjac, Curdlan Gum, Tara Gum, CMC, Modified Starch and Pectin maintaining their stronghold as the market leader.
Marine Hydrocolloids operates a full-fledged Quality Control (QC) laboratory for conducting all chemical and microbiology tests to ensure compliance with international standards. Best practices such as comprehensive SOPs for Quality Assurance (QA), batch numbering system for traceability of products throughout the production line, quality standards with zero tolerance, stringent safety protocols are adopted to ensure consistency and quality in all our products. A dedicated R&D department drives innovation and process improvement. Equipped with an advanced pilot plant, the R&D team tests new products before large-scale commercial production, leading the industry with improved processes and cost efficiencies.
All products conform to USP/BP/IP standards, backed by ISO 22000:2018 and ISO 9001:2015 certification, GMP, HACCP, Kosher and Halal certifications.
