Expansion plans:

The house of Defence Bakery is geared up to take this true neighborhood favorite to other parts of Delhi and NCR. The first phase (3-4 years) is to strengthen their footprint in the Delhi and NCR region. The phase two begins to reach the nearby cities of Chandigarh and Jaipur and more. The leadership believes clearly to be the daily neighborhood choice of the cities of India. They will take a combination of company owned and franchising routes to grow and realise this vision. The franchising models in the industry have not yielded the expected results in the Indian market. However, This is where DB brings a clear and fresh approach to the concept. The baker had started taking applications and are working diligently to handpick their partners for this journey.

Speaking further on that Dhingra said, “Expanding to new geographies is a key part of our strategy. We have planned to open new stores in areas where we haven’t reached yet, Parallelly also identify densely populated localities, where our brand presence is known.”

Additionally, the organization is looking to offer a wider range of products to satisfy evolving consumer tastes and preferences.
