Fortune Hotels Announces Three Key General Manager Appointments Across India

Fortune Hotels, a member of the ITC Hotels’ Group, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of three new General Managers. The appointments cover key growth markets in Chennai, Pahalgam, and Bhubaneswar, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to operational efficiency and service excellence.

The newly appointed leaders are:

  • Mahi Teja Yenumula – Fortune Select OMR, Chennai: Bringing over 14 years of experience, Mahi joins from Hyatt and Accor backgrounds. Most recently, he served as Operations Manager at ibis Bangalore Hosur Road. In his new role, he will focus on enhancing commercial strategy and brand presence in Chennai’s prominent IT corridor.

  • Irfan Hussain Dar – Fortune Pahalgam: With more than 16 years in the hospitality industry, Irfan has worked with major chains including Taj, Marriott, and Radisson. He previously served as General Manager at The Kabo Luxury Hotel and will now oversee operations and guest experiences at the picturesque Pahalgam property.

  • Priyabrata Baisya – Fortune Park Sishmo, Bhubaneswar: A veteran with 22 years of experience, Priyabrata joins from various roles at Wyndham and Sarovar Hotels. He most recently led the pre-opening of Ramada Encore by Wyndham Siliguri. His focus will be on sustainable growth and team performance in the Odisha capital.

These leadership changes come as Fortune Hotels continues to expand its footprint across India, focusing on both business and leisure destinations with a people-centric approach.
