Ghost Kitchens is an online restaurant technology platform that enables cloud kitchens and restaurants with the underutilized capacity to generate additional revenue without investing any money. The business has announced the inauguration of its 100th fulfillment partner in Bharuch, Gujarat, and plans to invest INR 50 Crores over the course of the following year to further expand its brand reach.

One of the fastest-growing online restaurant tech platforms in India, Ghost Kitchens has 1200 internet restaurants total after opening its 100th location in Bharuch, Gujarat, in the past 10 months. At the moment, Ghost kitchens can be found in 35 cities, including all of the main urban areas. The brand has more than 40 partners in West India, 20 in South, East, and North India, and 50 more partners in the pipeline who will become operational over the next two months. The brand works across all of India.

Ghost Kitchens addresses the issue of restaurants not being able to produce enough orders for meal delivery because they don’t comprehend the aggregators’ algorithms. No other firm has been able to create and offer the exclusive internet restaurant tech platform that Ghost Kitchens offers.

Over the course of two investment rounds, Ghost Kitchens has secured 1.2 million USD. Xander Group founder Sid Yog’s family office’s private investment arm, Yuj Ventures, as well as Dholakia Ventures, Salarpuria Family office, Tremis Capital, Shankar Narayanan, and other notable investors, are prominent investors.

Speaking on the milestone, Kumar Gaurav, the COO at Ghost Kitchens, said,” Since inception, we have successfully carved numerous success stories in a short span of time. Today, we have several partners who have gone on to open multiple stores. At the heart of this disruption lies our proprietary Technology that is empowering small restaurant owners to understand customer sentiment which helps them to extend the best customer experience. This ultimately helps them generate more food delivery orders for all brands. We are confidently working towards realizing our vision to make every restaurant profitable in India.”

Each partner receives a plug from Ghost Kitchens for a cuisine category that features 4-6 companies and a distinctive value proposition for the consumer. It gives owners of restaurants and cloud kitchens with unused capacity the chance to get in touch with Ghost Kitchens and promote their businesses. The business also collaborates with the south Indian hotel operator SVN Hotels. It is in talks to collaborate with other hotels and QSR chains so that it may promote its program in all of its establishments.

Also addressing the occasion, Yashwant, the MD of SVN Hotels, said, “We have plugged various affable brands from Ghost Kitchen brands like Starboy Pizza, New York waffles, and other brands from Ghost Kitchens portfolio to our hotel kitchens since Feb 2022. Due to efficient aggregator management and support of ready-to-assemble food products, we have been able to generate handsome incremental profits without any investment. We are now planning further expansion with Ghost Kitchens.”

By the year 2023, Ghost Kitchen hopes to have 500 partners and over 2000 online restaurants, making it one of the top 3 internet restaurant firms in India. With 65 locations, Starboy Pizza, a house brand, presently has the most stores, followed by New York waffles with more than 40. The brand is well-known in several Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities, including Kakinada, Viziagram, Bhavnagar, Bhadrak, Cuttuck, Jodhpur, Bilwara, and Bairelly, among others.
