Alappuzha,20th, August- The Kerala Hotel and Restaurant Association (KHRA) has been a strong pillar since 1962 starting off only with 12 members. Now it has grown tremendously into a vibrant and unanimous group of people without any discrimination of caste, religion, ethnicity or race. Representing a vast network of hotels and restaurants across Kerala, the association plays a crucial role in advocating for the interests of its members, preserving the region’s rich culinary traditions, and driving innovation within the industry. The KHRA is deeply committed to preserving and promoting the unique flavors of Kerala, ensuring that the state’s culinary heritage remains a central part of the dining experience for locals and tourists alike. This unit is operating across the state of Kerala
KHRA has an influence over the district of Alappuzha and the impacts followed by it. Hotels and restaurants are one of the great places where people are going to rejuvenate themselves. The hospitable nature and environment are very important when it comes to serving people. KHRA has a pivotal role in elucidating all these features. The membership in the association ensures the safety of all the hoteliers and restaurant groups across the state. The exceptional cases included in this corporation are the street vendors.
While talking to the president of the Alappuzha district Manaf S Kabuba spoke about how the rules and regulations are kept for hoteliers and restaurants to ensure the liberty and safety of the common people as well as the one’s associated with the hospitality. Waste disposal is one of the major issues faced by the nuke and corner of our country and they were talking about imposing certain measures for that. It was a great initiative provided by the KHRA by providing an open kitchen for the people who were rescued from the disastrous landslide in Wayanad District. This open kitchen has helped in providing food to more than one lakh people. Not only this there are many assemblages that have happened in association with the KHRA. Each district will follow its own ideas and regulations in order to safeguard the people as well as the hoteliers.
Moreover, very recently this association has helped maintain a distress situation that has happened with a police officer. For any kind of further actions they will be meeting the authorized people for it. And there is an upcoming state assemblage of the KHRA that will be soon in action.
