Singapore, 27 April 2026 – Lamb Weston, a global leading supplier in frozen potato products, showcased three of its latest potato innovations – Snap Fries, Frenzy Fries and Original Mash Cup at Food & Hospitality Asia (FHA) 2026.

As airline and foodservice operators across Asia seek to differentiate their menus and drive greater efficiency, Lamb Weston unveils innovative solutions that create new consumption moments, reduce back-of-house complexity, and deliver perfectly crispy fries, even at 30,000 feet.

“In today’s environment, operators must do more with less—less space, less labour, and less time, while continuing to deliver the comforting favourites consumers expect” said Vicky Mukhi, Commercial Director, South East Asia, Lamb Weston. “With Snap Fries, Frenzy Fries and Original Mash Cup, we’re showing that great potato favourites don’t require a traditional deep fryer or full kitchen—just smart solutions that deliver anytime, anywhere.”

Snap Fries: Enjoy crispy fries anywhere, any time! No deep fryer needed.

Engineered for space-constrained kitchens from airline galleys to cafés, hot counters, and small business setups. Lamb Weston Snap Fries 9x9mm deliver irresistibly crispy results with ease. Designed for airline ovens, combi ovens, impinger ovens, and air fryers, these pre-portioned monopacks make preparation effortless: simply heat and serve. No deep fryer, no hassle just consistent, golden perfection every time. The Snap Fries are crafted with a special coating to deliver fries at their crispiest across a wide range of cooking platforms including airline ovens, combi ovens, air fryers and highspeed ovens.

These attributes make Snap Fries an ideal solution for airlines that have historically struggled to serve genuine, crispy fries onboard, opening a new revenue and satisfaction driver in the inflight snacking occasion, as well as for food service operators seeking fryer-free expansion into delivery, kiosks and satellite locations.

Frenzy Fries: A cut above your regular fry

Designed to stand out on the plate and on social media, Lamb Weston Frenzy Fries offer skin-on, hand-cut appeal with a variety of sizes, creating an authentic, hand-cut appeal in every serving.

At the heart of Frenzy Fries is its distinctive three-sided, triangular-inspired shape. This geometry increases surface area for crispiness and greater yield while maintaining a velvety interior, delivering both texture and visual intrigue versus conventional straightcut fries. Each fry is also coated with Lamb Weston’s invisible Stealth™ coating, delivering:

  • Extended holding time and up to 20 minutes of long-lasting crispiness,
  • Strong performance from deep fryers (3 minutes at 175°C/350°F) or ovens (15–20 minutes at 200°C),
  • Skin on hand cut, appeal with a variety of cuts and sizes

For operators looking for a unique premium fry with a scratch-made look, Frenzy Fries holds its crunch longer, reduces plate waste, and encourages upsizing through a distinctive look and bite.

Original Mash Cup: Comforting mash for a smarter business

Rounding out the lineup, Lamb Weston Original Mash Cup delivers classic comfort with modern convenience. This smooth, creamy mashed potato is pre-portioned and simplified for today’s fast-paced kitchens. Shelf-stable at ambient temperature with a 12-month shelf life, each cup ensures perfect consistency and is ready in just 10 seconds. Simply remove the seal, add 135ml of hot water, and stir.

A smart, fryer-free alternative or complement to fries, Original Mash is ideal for:

• Expanding menus with a versatile, crowd-pleasing potato side or snack

• Operations with limited kitchen space, equipment, labour, or freezer capacity

• Concepts focused on speed, consistency, and reducing prep time, training, and food waste—without compromising on quality

With toppings, sauces, or proteins, Original Mash can be transformed into a high-margin, customizable snack or side, appealing to diners seeking familiar comfort with a modern twist.

Elevating potato possibilities across Southeast Asia

Lamb Weston’s presence at FHA 2026 underscores its longterm commitment to supporting foodservice growth in Southeast Asia with innovations that marry consumer appeal with operational practicality. From enabling real fries in the air with Snap Fries, to delivering highimpact plates with Frenzy Fries’ threesided shape, to simplifying sidedish preparation with Original Mash Cup, the company is redefining what is possible with potatoes across channels.
