At an event arranged to celebrate HyFun Foods’ acquisition of 3,00,000 tons of processing-grade potatoes from farmers this year, the HyFarm Company was introduced as a means of targeting farmers. By 2030, HyFarm plans to integrate 30,000 farmers into its workforce, according the company. Although HyFarm previously focused only on processing potatoes, it now plans to expand its procurement to both edible and chip varieties and aims to acquire one million tons by 2028.
